Let's get down to the nitty gritty...The Elements of Art. The elements of Art are the visual building blocks that artists use to create. It includes: line, shape, form, colour, value, space, and texture. We will explore these elements and use them to create fun and unique 2D and 3D works. This foundational knowledge is important as it allows us to play. This workshop includes a hot dog lunch option for $10. This price includes up to two hot dogs (sauce, cheese, and mustard available) and a juice box. If you book the afternoon session, your young artist can stay on site the whole day. You can also choose to buy the hot dog lunch then leave before the afternoon session begins. Please check the hot dog lunch option when checking out if you would like to include this. Vegan, vegetarian, and halal options are not available - unless you just want a cheese roll. Holiday Workshops at Primary Colours are fully catered and resourced. Expertly led by fully qualified and experienced Art teacher, Andrew Lang, these workshops are educational, playful, and inclusive to all abilities. All materials and use of equipment are included in the cost. Protective clothing is supplied and a healthy snack is provided halfway through the session. There is a bathroom on site and drinking water is supplied. Please do not send students with lunchboxes or water bottles unless absolutely necessary. Punctuality is important for smooth transitions on the day. Please arrive and pick up on time.
