Service Description

Still life is the first building block when creating art. Still life means using anything that is still (not alive and moving) as inspiration for art. It is drawing from life, not the imagination, and focuses observational skills. In this workshop we will sharpen up our compositions, shading and tonal value, as we produce original works. A finished still life painting will emerge from this workshop to hang upon your wall at home. Holiday Workshops at Primary Colours are fully catered and resourced. Expertly led by fully qualified and experienced Art teacher, Andrew Lang, these workshops are educational, playful, and inclusive to all abilities. All materials and use of equipment are included in the cost. Protective clothing is supplied and a healthy snack is provided halfway through the session. There is a bathroom on site and drinking water is supplied. Please do not send students with lunchboxes or water bottles unless absolutely necessary. Punctuality is important for smooth transitions on the day. Please arrive and pick up on time.
