Service Description
Welcome to the Primary Colours Holiday Workshops for winter 2025! So, you want to learn about Kawaii. Kawaii means cute in Japanese and is generally recognised through characters such as Hello Kitty and the whole SanRio gang. It is part of the manga (Japanese comics) group. In this workshop your young artist will learn how to draw kawaii style and create other artworks based around this theme. All of the workshops at Primary Colours run for three hours. Parents are expected to drop and run. Your young artists will be well looked after by Andrew (the owner of Primary Colours and an experienced primary school teacher with over twenty years in the teaching under his belt), and an experienced extra helper. Everything is supplied at these workshops. That includes all materials and use of the art making equipment, protective clothing, drinking water, and a nourishing snack. There is also a bathroom onsite, first aid, a trough for cleaning up art mess, and a fully functional kitchen. Please arrive five minutes before the allocated time so that we can get off to a great start. These workshops are packed with fun art learning and activities so we don't want to waste a minute. They're also wonderful social opportunities, so bring a friend! If you are intending to book the afternoon session you are most welcome to leave your budding artist at the studio over the lunch hour. Please ensure they have a packed lunch. Thanks for considering Primary Colours Art School for holiday arty fun.
