Service Description

What makes a good portrait? A good portrait captures the character and personality of the sitter. That is what we hope to achieve in this workshop. Students will begin with some drawing games and informal measurement activities before moving onto a painted portrait. Likeness is important, to an extent, but life and character are vital. That is what we hope to capture in these paintings. Holiday Workshops at Primary Colours are fully catered and resourced. Expertly led by fully qualified and experienced Art teacher, Andrew Lang, these workshops are educational, playful, and inclusive to all abilities. All materials and use of equipment are included in the cost. Protective clothing is supplied and a healthy snack is provided halfway through the session. There is a bathroom on site and drinking water is supplied. Please do not send students with lunchboxes or water bottles unless absolutely necessary. Punctuality is important for smooth transitions on the day. Please arrive and pick up on time.
